Workshops and training programs under the title “Contemporary teaching methods” and “Contemporary assessment methods” for B&H secondary school teachers.
The workshop series are constructed in a specific way, with the aim of training teachers to use elements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and most contemporary teaching methodologies, which can further be implemented in their classrooms. The hands-on workshops also offer space for a discussion forum, enabling teachers to exchange positive educational practices among themselves and with UWC Mostar staff, who are usually leading the workshops. Usually, the teachers implement the new educational methodology after the return to their schools and serve as trainers to their colleagues.
The Foundation also organizes study visits to Slovenia, with the support of our partner school Druga gimnazija from Maribor, with the aim of presenting contemporary educational processes in Slovenia.
